Dragoni Responsible:
materials, processes and certifications
The textile supply chain involves different raw materials, processes, and production methods, from the use of natural and synthetic fibers to the use of chemicals and water resources.
With Dragoni Responsible we bring together the initiatives adopted by the company in these areas, with particular attention to the selection and traceability of raw materials, fabric characteristics, process control, and applicable certifications.
Over the years, Dragoni has introduced into its range materials and items that meet specific standards and certification schemes, including OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, GOTS, FSC®, and GRS, according to their respective areas of application.
Dragoni is also authorized to purchase and sell Mass Balance BCI Cotton, within the relevant chain of custody.
Responsible and certified production
FSC ® - Forest Stewardship Council
Forest Stewardship Council is an independent international certification that guarantees correct forest management and the traceability of derived products.
Tencel™
Dragoni uses Tencel™ blends (Lyocell or Modal), a biodegradable fiber from Lenzing AG made from FSC-certified wood, produced with a closed-loop process that recovers over 99% of non-toxic solvents.
GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS is the leading international standard for textile products made from organic natural fibers (min. 70-95%), ensuring their traceability.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
Ensures that the textile product is safe for human health. It has annual validity and includes testing for approximately one thousand harmful substances.
GRS - Global Recycled Standard
This is a voluntary international standard that certifies the content of recycled materials. It is promoted by Textile Exchange, a global non-profit organization operating in the textile and fashion sector to promote the circular economy.
Our logos to guide you through the fibers
Per i nostri prodotti abbiamo adottato una serie di loghi interni, pensati per rendere più immediata la comunicazione delle caratteristiche dei materiali.
These symbols indicate:
- the presence of natural fibers, such as hemp, bamboo, and regenerative cotton (grown using regenerative agricultural practices, aimed at improving soil health);
- artificial fibers of natural origin, such as Soft Modal;
- the use of biodegradable materials.
